• Job Summary: A Food and Beverage Associate is responsible for providing high-quality customer service in restaurants, cafes, hotels, or other dining establishments. The role involves serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar. Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously. Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout the service. Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly. Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotional offers. Assist in setting up dining areas before opening and cleaning up after service. Follow food safety, hygiene, and health standards at all times. Process payments and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude. Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
